She specialises in developing animal health programs and delivery of services.

Helen is a highly respected consultant in animal management, living and working in Wujal Wujal, Far North Queensland, where she has established a program that serves as an exemplary model for other Queensland communities. Community Animal Network has evolved to align Indigenous community engagement, with veterinary nurse skills and an understanding of community needs.

With over ten years of working collaboratively with councils, rangers, health departments, veterinarians, non-government organisations and charities.

Helen is able to subcontract for remote veterinary programmes as a surgical veterinary nurse as well as triage patients around households.
